Outgoing Rules are the routing policies that link campaigns and user groups to specific SIP trunks in Ringingo. When a call is placed, the system evaluates the outgoing rule assigned to the campaign or user group to decide which SIP trunk to use, what number prefix handling to apply, and how to fail over between trunks.

Rule list fields

Every campaign (Inbound, Outbound, Blended) requires an active Outgoing Rule before it can be saved and activated. Without a valid outgoing rule, the campaign cannot place or receive routed calls.

Always configure at least one Failover Trunk for production outgoing rules. If the primary trunk goes offline due to a carrier outage, failover keeps calls routing through the backup without manual intervention.
