IP Mapping defines a whitelist of trusted IP addresses from which Ringingo accepts inbound SIP traffic. Any SIP INVITE arriving from an IP not in the mapping table is rejected at the platform perimeter, providing a first layer of inbound call security against unauthorised traffic.

IP mapping list fields

Only add IP addresses from verified and trusted SIP carriers or network sources. An incorrectly whitelisted IP may allow unauthorised SIP traffic to reach the platform, resulting in toll fraud or call spoofing.

Create an IP mapping entry

Open the form

Click + Create IP Mapping.

Add source IP and prefix

Enter the IP address or CIDR block, and an optional Set Prefix for inbound caller ID.

Enable

Set Status to Enable to activate the whitelist entry.

Fields

Every SIP carrier or trunk provider that sends inbound calls to Ringingo must have its source IP added here. If a carrier’s IP is not in the IP Mapping table, calls from that source are silently rejected. Agents receive no inbound calls even if the DID and routing are configured correctly.
