How to Set Up Messaging Channels

Messaging Channels are integrations between the Ringingo platform and external messaging providers (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram via the Meta Business Platform).

Navigate to Messaging Channel

Go to Messaging → Messaging Channel in the left sidebar menu (under the Broadcasting section in the sidebar).

Create a new channel

Click + Create Messaging Channel.

Fill in the fields

Field	Description
Name (required)	Unique display name for the channel. Used in agent workspace, queue assignments, and reporting.
Provider (required)	Select the messaging provider: currently Meta (supporting WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram).
Type (required)	The platform type: WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram.
Status (required)	Enable to activate the channel immediately after saving.
Token (required)	The API access token issued by the Meta Developer Portal for this business account or page.
Webhook Secret Key (required)	The secret key used to verify incoming webhook payloads from Meta.

Save the channel

Click Save.

Obtain the Token and Webhook Secret Key from the Meta Developer Portal under your App’s WhatsApp, Messenger, or Instagram settings. Both values must match the credentials configured in your Meta Business Account. Incorrect credentials are preventing message delivery and reception.
