# Configure Agent Break Codes

> Break Codes are the named unavailability statuses agents select in the Workspace. Define durations that feed into Login Logout reports.

Break Codes are named status identifiers that agents select when they are temporarily unavailable to take calls. Typical examples are lunch, training, team meetings, or comfort breaks. When an agent activates a Break Code, they move to an unavailable state and the dialer stops routing calls to them until they return to Ready.

## Fields

| Field     | Description                                                                                                                    |
| --------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Code Name | Break reason label displayed to agents in the Ringingo Workspace (Lunch, Training, Team Meeting, Break). |
| Duration | Optional maximum duration in minutes. When it expires, the agent gets a reminder or is auto-returned to Ready (if configured). |
| Status | Toggle to activate or deactivate. Inactive codes are hidden from the agent Workspace break menu. |
| Actions | Edit the break code name or duration, or delete the code. |

<Note>
  Break Code data feeds directly into the Login Logout Report and User Performance Report. Name Break Codes clearly so supervisors can accurately interpret agent unavailability patterns in performance reviews.
