# Manage Audio Prompts for IVRs and Queues

> Upload the pre-recorded audio files used by IVR menus, Call Queues, Ring Groups, and Voice Broadcasts across Ringingo.

Audio Prompts are pre-recorded audio files uploaded to Ringingo and made available for use in IVR menus, Call Queues, Ring Groups, and Voice Broadcasts. Every IVR greeting, queue hold message, and time-condition announcement uses an audio prompt file stored here.

<Tip>
  Upload audio prompts in 8kHz mono WAV format for best SIP telephony compatibility. Higher sample rates (16kHz, 44.1kHz) may be downsampled by the carrier and result in audio quality degradation. Record prompts in a quiet environment with consistent pace for professional-quality IVR audio.
