# How to Set Up a Conference Room

> Create multi-party audio conference rooms in Ringingo with PIN access, moderator controls, and dial-in numbers for participants.

Conference rooms allow multi-party audio sessions for internal huddles, three-way customer calls, or supervised agent training.

  <Step title="Navigate to Conference">
    Go to **Incoming Rules → Conference** in the left sidebar menu.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create a new Conference">
    Click **+ Create Conference**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Fill in the fields">
    | Field                     | Description                                                                                                          |
    | ------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
    | Name (required)           | A unique label (e.g. "Management-Huddle", "Training-Room-1"). Appears in transfer destination dropdowns.             |
    | Description               | Optional internal notes (e.g. "Used for daily ops standups at 9am").                                                 |
    | Pin                       | A numeric access code participants must enter when dialling in. Strongly recommended to prevent unauthorised access. |
    | Welcome Prompt (required) | Audio played to participants when joining. Select from Settings → Audio Prompts.                                     |
    | Status                    | Enable to make immediately available.                                                                                |

    Click **Save**.

<Warning>
  Always set a PIN for conference rooms used for management discussions or client calls. A room without a PIN can be joined by anyone who knows the dial-in number.
