# How to Manage the DNC List

> Maintain the Ringingo Do Not Call registry so the dialer automatically skips suppressed numbers across every campaign at dial time.

The DNC module maintains the platform's Do Not Call registry. When a number is added, the dialer is automatically skipping all calls to that number across all campaigns.

    Go to **Contact Center → DNC** in the left sidebar menu.

  <Step title="Create a DNC entry">
    To add a number, click **+ Create DNC** and enter:

    | Field        | Description                                                                                                                 |
    | ------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
    | Phone Number | The customer phone number to add to the suppression list.                                                                   |
    | Campaign     | Optional. If populated, the DNC restriction applies only to the specified campaign. If blank, suppression applies globally. |
    | Status       | Enable to activate suppression. Disable to temporarily lift it.                                                             |

  Update the DNC list prior to launching any outbound campaign. TRAI regulations impose penalties for contacting numbers on the National Do Not Call registry. Ringingo cross-checks all campaign leads against the DNC list at dial-time. DNC-listed numbers are being automatically skipped without counting as a dial attempt.
