# How to Make Calls in Ringingo

> Place calls in Ringingo using Lead Dial (auto-dialler) for campaign calls or Manual Dial for direct outbound calls from the agent workspace.

There are two methods for making calls in Ringingo: Lead Dial (auto-dialler) and Manual Dial.

## Lead Dial (Auto-Dialler)

Lead Dial is the standard mode for outbound campaigns. The system is automatically dialling the next lead in the campaign's lead list.

    Click the **Lead Dial** tab in the dialler panel on the right side of the screen.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start the dialler">
    Click the **Resume / Play** button (the orange circle button). The dialler is beginning to work through the lead list automatically.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Handle the connected call">
    When a customer answers, the call is connecting directly to you and the lead's information is appearing in the Lead Information panel.

<Tip>
  Keep your headset on and stay on Ready status. The dialler is connecting calls to you automatically. You do not need to do anything between calls except complete your wrap-up.

## Manual Dial

Manual Dial allows you to type in any phone number and call it directly. Use this when a customer calls back on a number not in the system, or when your supervisor asks you to call a specific number.

  <Step title="Open the Manual Dial tab">
    Click the **Manual Dial** tab in the dialler panel.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the phone number">
    A keypad is appearing. Use the on-screen keys or your physical keyboard to enter the phone number.

  <Step title="Place the call">
    Click the green **Call** button to dial. The call is connecting through your browser audio.

  Always include the country code when dialling internationally (e.g. +44 for UK, +1 for USA).
